Who We Are
Creative Wedding Officiants was organized to meet the increasing demand for personalized wedding ceremonies performed at locations that were, until then, considered out of the norm. Locations such as homes, parks, beaches, party centers or restaurants, boats or cruise ships, virtually anywhere. Our officiants are ordained by Universal Life Church, licensed by the State of Ohio, and are active members of The National Associate of Wedding Officiants and the National Association of Wedding Ministers. Our staff has over 40 years of combined experience and has written and performed hundreds of ceremonies.
Our Belief
It is our belief that each couple should have a wedding ceremony as unique and distinctive as their relationship. We believe that all wedding ceremonies should accommodate the specific needs of each relationship in a very special format. We take into consideration religious and cultural backgrounds, children and stepchildren, families, relatives, guests, hobbies, interests, and special needs when planning wedding ceremonies.
We assist couples in writing their own wedding ceremonies or guide them through the process through our online ceremony workbook tool or through our inventory of pre-written selections that can be combined and incorporated into a personalized wedding ceremony. Readings, poems or prayers can be read by our ministers or by the couple or their guests. Wedding ceremonies can be as long or short as desired and can be performed at virtually any location, on any day of the week, and at any time.
From a casual event to an elegant black-tie affair, our service offers many types of wedding ceremonies - religious, non-religious, civil, spiritual, inter or mixed-faith, inter or mixed culture, and special requests.
